I think queer audiences connect so deeply with horror because we can, in a way, relate to the villains. We see these outcasts, the creatures that are hated for being different.

Working in the haunt industry has not only taken me to multiple trade shows and conventions where i have met online mutuals, but has also broadened my horizons - allowing me to connect and form friendships with people I wouldn't have considered befriending prior.
