Bright sunlight beats down on a quiet Texas field, too quiet. Juicy apple glistens in the heat, sweet and fresh, while delicate osmanthus blooms drift through the air like a memory you can’t shake. Water lily adds a soft, almost eerie calm - still, glassy, and just beneath the surface. Anchoring it all is a warm, skin-like musk, clinging close like sweat, fear, and the long road home.
